Donruedi Bunkaeo

Donruedi Bunkaeo is a Thai visual artist who creates her own pigments from locally sourced natural materials such as clay, stone, and minerals, processed using traditional methods. Influenced by Thai traditional crafts, she combines natural and man-made materials to produce paintings that are both abstract and at times figurative, exploring themes of identity, environment, and cultural heritage.

Donruedi Bunkaeo는 태국의 비주얼 아티스트로, 흙과 돌, 광물 등 자연에서 채취한 지역 재료를 전통적인 방식으로 가공하여 자신만의 색소를 만들어 작품에 사용하는 작업을 이어오고 있습니다. 태국 전통 공예의 영향을 받은 그녀는 자연 소재와 인공 재료를 결합해 추상적이면서도 때로는 형상적인 회화를 선보이며, 정체성과 환경, 문화적 유산을 중심으로 탐구해 나갑니다.

 Duenchayphoochana Phooprasert was born and raised in the rural region of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand. She is an artist and writer who currently teaches in the Visual Arts Program at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Valaya Alongkorn University. Duenchayphoochana’s pieces combine objects, lines, colors, and the local characteristics of clay to reflect the two interconnected elements of people and the natural world.

Duenchayphoochana Phooprasert는 태국 Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya 지방의 시골에서 태어나 자랐으며, 현재 Valaya Alongkorn 대학교 인문·사회과학부 시각예술 프로그램에서 강의하는 예술가이자 작가입니다. 듀엔차이푸차나의 작품은 물체, 선, 색 그리고 흙의 지역적 특성을 결합하여, 사람과 자연적 요소라는 두 가지 상호 연결된 요소를 반영합니다. 

 Thanistha Nantapojn is a Thai visual artist working primarily with mixed media and installation. Her practice explores themes of memory, femininity, and domestic labor through delicate materials. Using thread, silk, and metallic fibers, she draws inspiration from traditional craft techniques such as sewing, embroidery, and weaving, which have been passed down among women through generations, to reinterpret objects imbued with personal and cultural meaning, reconnecting and healing them in new ways.

Thanistha Nantapojn은 태국의 비주얼 아티스트로, 혼합 매체와 설치 작업을 중심으로 활동하고 있습니다. 그녀의 작업은 기억, 여성성, 가사노동이라는 주제를 섬세한 재료를 통해 탐구합니다. 실, 실크, 금속 섬유 등 섬세한 소재를 사용하며, 여러 세대를 통해 여성들 사이에서 전해 내려온 바느질, 자수, 직조와 같은 전통 공예 기법에 영감을 받아, 개인적이고 문화적인 의미가 담긴 사물들을 새롭게 연결하고 치유하는 방식으로 재해석합니다.
