Agnė Kišonaitė

Agnė Kišonaitė is a well-known Lithuanian artist who uses discarded items to create aesthetically pleasing artworks. Her goal is to highlight the intrinsic beauty in the detritus of our consumer society. In addition to working in many media, she also incorporates industrial design into her creations. 

To achieve her aim she is brave enough to reveal the breadth of her vision. She firmly believes that the picturesque seaside landscape, and the stark outlines of Klaipeda’s industrialized port, have impacted her contrasting, but harmonious, colour schemes and bold compositions.
